Breathwork Journeys

  • Breathwork is a powerful, ancient tool used by many cultures and traditions that involves using conscious, deep breathing techniques to help regulate our nervous systems and enhance our mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical wellbeing. It is very safe and uses your own physiology to access deeper states of being. We tap into this life-giving energy in an intentional way to promote a multi-faceted approach to wellness.

  • Inhance Breathwork uses a trauma-informed breathwork technique certified by the world-renowned instructors of Owaken Breathwork. This holotropic-style technique is designed to safely guide you in to non-ordinary states of consciousness in order to tap in to your innate well-being potential, one breath at a time.

    During a session you will learn to rewrite limiting beliefs, identify protective parts of yourself and how to work with them in your daily life, connect with your inner child, access your intuition, close mental loops, reconnect to your body, and so much more.

    We will usually start with an activating breath followed by of a slower, restorative breath to access the innate intelligence of our bodies to release stored tension, stress, emotions, and trapped energy. The cadence of the breath may vary based on your unique, individual needs in each moment, which we can work through together.

    Activation Breath

    I will safely guide you in taking powerful, deep, connected breaths, inducing temporary sympathetic changes in your physiology. This is very well-tolerated by the body, and allows us to access non-ordinary states of consciousness, experience deep energetic releases, process emotions, shed stress from the past, and gain new perspectives on our lives.

    Restorative Breath

    Following the activation style breath with a slower, restorative breath, promotes nervous system regulation and healing. By breathing deeply, you can begin to engage your parasympathetic nervous system to slow down your heart rate and lower your blood pressure, creating a feeling of relaxation, and an opportunity for integration of the insights received during the activation breath.

    The process is incredibly powerful and self-driven once your breathing rhythm is established. You have full control over your experience, and you will begin to develop a new, empowered relationship with your body, mind and spirit over time.

  • Whether online, in-person, or in a group, most sessions are expected to be 2.5-3 hours in duration. We begin the session by reviewing and getting clarity on your intentions, meditating, practicing the breathwork technique, and grounding in to the present moment.

    Zoom Sessions

    The private Zoom or group Zoom sessions may be for those who prefer a hands-off approach in the comfort of their own homes, or who live out of area. I can provide energy healing virtually during a session, if desired.

    In-person Sessions

    The in-person sessions take place at a location of you choice, and usually include a more interactive approach (with consent), using energetics, touch, tapping, essential oils and smudging (if desired).

    Common Experiences

    During the breath journey, which is usually around an hour in duration, you may notice new physical sensations arise, or experience a wide variety of emotions, somatic release, non-ordinary states of consciousness, visions, deep relaxation, profound insights into your intentions, memory recall, and more. Sometimes the sensations and experience can be more subtle, which is still profoundly impactful.

    We follow the session with meditation, journaling, and integration. A gentle and slow integration after a session is important to allow the insights you received to sink in and process in the bodymind system.

  • For any zoom session at home, we recommend a yoga mat, a comfortable blanket, any comforting scents in the air like a candle or essential oil diffuser, a water bottle, chapstick to apply before a session, an eye mask, and a pillow for under your legs, (if you have a neck issue, use a small towel roll under the neck for support).

    For an in-person session at your home, please ready all of the above items listed. If any of these are difficult to obtain, let me know via email.

    For a group session on location at a studio or retreat, please bring a yoga mat, a comfortable blanket, a water bottle, chapstick to apply before a session, an eye mask, and a pillow for under your legs, (if you have a neck issue, use a small towel roll under the neck for support).

  • An intention could be anything you want to focus on during your session. An example could be a phrase or summary of:

    1. Something you want to bring in to your life

    2. Something you want to release, change, or gain a different perspective on

    3. Something you’re seeking clarity on

    4. An emotion you want to release or to feel instead

    5. Grieving a loved one, a lost relationship, a missed opportunity

    6. Seeking new ideas on goals for your future

    7. Releasing pain and tension from the body

    8. Connecting with your inner child

      And the list goes on….these are just a few examples as reference if you’re feeling stuck.

In a small group setting, this is where we learn to tune in to our inner wisdom, by releasing what no longer serves us. We will explore the unique voice of our internal GPS, and move towards what is holding us back with conscious connected breathing as our tool, becoming a powerful opportunity for internal alchemy.

We open up new possibilities in our lives once these blockages are identified, understood, felt, and integrated. When the trapped energy is flowing again in our bodies, we can call in our gifts.

    A one-on-one individual or couple’s breathwork session is designed to be tailored to your individual needs, intentions and personal goals. These sessions are deep and profound, and can be held in the comfort of your own home, or at a location of your choice.

    Single private session- $290

    Couples private session- $390

  • Virtual

    These sessions are done virtually via Zoom. These are ideal for those out of my service area who are seeking deep self-healing. I provide guidance and facilitation throughout the whole session, and it is personalized to your individual needs, intentions and goals.

    Private Zoom Sessions- $255

  • Group

    Bring 3-10 of your friends, family or coworkers together for a private group session in the comfort of your own home or preferred location. If you have a venue in mind, or if you’d like me to inquire about venues I’m familiar with, rental costs will be added and arranged in advance. You can all bring your personal intentions or goals, or the session can be tailored to a group intention or goal.

    Private group sessions- $144 per person

Our Instructor

  • I feel that a part of my purpose on this planet is to invite people to discover the innate freedom within their bodies through the power of breath and energy. We are here to connect deeply to ourselves, our uniqueness, and explore the wisdom that lies within.

    When a series of extremely challenging life experiences shattered me and turned my world completely upside down, I began to see the truth of who I am, and who I’m not. During this time of crisis, I re-awoke to the energetic, intuitive and emotional systems in my body, which gave me insight into how trauma was stored in my body.

    I began a practice of kriya yoga, breathwork, and meditation. I became certified in therapeutic Reiki and breathwork through the Owaken Breathwork Facilitator course. I'm also a full-time Registered Nurse in the labor and delivery department.

    Using these modalities for my own growth, I began releasing attachments to memories from the past, physical and emotional pain from my body, and stress related to imagined future situations. Little by little, I’ve been softening in to who I’ve always been meant to be.

    I believe deeply that everyone has the ability to be their own healer and has unique magic they can contribute to the world. We are all here to tap into our own unique gifts, passions, and joy!

    I practice trauma-informed facilitation, as safety for every client is my top priority during a session.
